Choose an electric lease around your annual distance and charging routine first. A low monthly price based on 5,000 miles a year may be unsuitable for a regular long-distance driver.

Calculate your annual mileage

Start with your return commute multiplied by your working days. Add business journeys, weekend driving and holidays. Tell us the annual estimate rather than choosing a small allowance to reach a headline price. Ask how any allowance is applied over the whole contract.

Check the charging plan

Identify where you can charge regularly and what it costs. Consider winter driving, motorway use, passengers and luggage when planning range. Published range is not a promise of the distance achieved in every journey. Check the exact battery and charging specification before ordering.

Get the excess-mileage rate in writing

Ask for the pence-per-mile rate, VAT basis, any tiered rates, permitted mileage changes and maintenance inclusions. We do not invent a higher-mileage rental or advertise an unverified excess-mileage figure.

Questions before choosing

Can a 5,000-mile advertised quote be used for 15,000 miles?

Not at the same advertised price unless the provider explicitly confirms it. Request a new 15,000-mile quotation, including the excess-mileage terms and any maintenance option.
